Millions face hunger across the UK

We live in one of the wealthiest countries in the world, and yet people in the UK are going without the essentials we all need to get by.

Decisions about how much money people receive from Universal Credit should be driven by what the essentials cost.

That's why we're calling for an independent process to advise the UK Government on the minimum level for Universal Credit. This would be grounded in evidence and advice from experts, including people who know what it's like to live on a low income.
